AN EFFECTIVE CHAIR

Listens to the concerns of every REC member, recognizes efforts
Open door: is present, available and responsive
Supports & encourages Republican Candidates who put themselves out there to run for public office
Agile; brainstorms new ideas, adjusts to conditions on the ground
Coordinates and communicates effective Party messaging
Adaptable to the needs of the voters and community at-large
Encourages and supports Clubs to achieve the overall mission
Recognizes efforts and sacrifices volunteers make
Allows time for clubs and committees to provide meaningful and consistent reporting to the REC membership
Equips members, staff and volunteer teams, with the tools and knowledge required to effectively raise funds, elect candidates, and protect the vote
Encourages and supports activities that invite NPAs and conservative Democrats to abandon the Woke agenda and vote for Republicans
Forms alliances with ethnic and faith-based groups that further the mission and maximize voter turnout for Republicans
Candidate & Member recruitment and support is a top priority
Fiscally responsible, and transparent with finances, rules & procedures
Runs effective Assembly meetings in strict adherence to Robert’s Rules of Order
Offers members training on Robert’s Rules (helps with the previous)
Empowers the assembly, through Robert’s Rules
Enforces civility and decorum in meetings
Works with clubs and community groups to be creative in attracting and mentoring the next generation of conservative Party leaders
Has a succession plan

Appoint a Co-Vice Chair from Okeechobee / Belle Glade area
Establish a Regional Director Program in Okeechobee, Belle Glade
Appoint an Assistant Treasurer
Provide a budget for Regional Directors
Support campaign victory offices in critical election months
Campaign pre-election guidance and post election lessons learned
Embrace tech for those comfortable, w/out leaving others behind
Revamp website, improve The Wire & establish an REC Newsletter
Offer useful training on topics of interest to conservatives at-large
Get creative, encourage new ideas
Establish a pre-meeting mixer (for relationship building)
Improve morale: Culture flows from the top
Code of Conduct for Board Members and Regional Directors
Regional Directors will take on more responsibility
